Animation ON
Needs to be ON for Tear Painter to be able to bake animation properly.
Secondary Motion
Will simulate gravity, drag and procedural wind for the threads.
Scale Secondary Motion
Will scale the influence of secondary motion on threads.
Scale Preserved Motion
Will scale the influence of secondary motion on preserved threads only.
Follow Surface
If ON secondary motion will always be adjacent to the surface. Threads will “slide” on the surface avoiding any unwanted clipping with any mesh below like skin under shirt etc.
Procedural Wind
Wind effect controlled by procedural noise.
Wind Strength
Wind Turbulence
Turbulence affects the strength of the wind randomly over the time.
Wind Direction
Select wind direction. The orientation is the same as for the viewport when looking from the front.
Wind Direction Turbulence
Turbulence affects the direction of the wind randomly over the time.
Secondary Simulation Precision
Steps for calculating simulation. Default 2 will work in most cases, higher value will slow down the baking process however will result in a more precise simulation.
