Peel Geometry
Peel Only
Leaves the generated mesh only.
SubDiv
Subdivides the generated mesh.
Mesh Smoothing
Choose wether Subdivision should smooth the mesh or subdivide it without smoothing.
Unchecked Smoothing is usefull when working with planar surfaces with corners – like walls or interiors for example.
Adaptive & Culling
All settings from this panel work only when camera object is picked.
Camera
Position of selected camera is used to calculate Adaptive Subdiv and Culling.
Adaptive Subdiv
Adaptive Mode
Distance – subdivides the mesh in steps.
Peel Island – Generates peeled geometry at Subdiv = 0, then subdivides whole Peel Islands in steps.
Distance
Distance in meters for each Adaptive Subdiv level step.
Camera Culling
Hides mesh outside of the camera view. „Cropping” can be controlled with X and Y values.
Backface Culling
Hides mesh faced away from camera.
