Hair Press Collider

Introduction

This is a very simple setup done with geometry nodes, that will help you hide the hair underneath a hat, cap, belt or whatever.

You can find a walkthrough and a quick look at geonodes in the video below:

Files

This geometry nodes modifier is compatible with Blender 4.2+.

Installation

Follow the usual drill of setting up an asset library. 

  • Drop the HairPressCollider.blend file into a folder
  • Set the path to this folder in Asset Libraries preferences

If all went well, you’ll find this asset ready to use in Asset Browser.

The other way would be to append the node group HairPressCollider from HairPressCollider.blend file into your project. It will be then visible in Asset Browser under Current File.
